Bruce Sack, PT

Bruce Sack, Physical Therapist, is an alumnus of Mayo Clinic in Rochester. He has served on faculty in the University of Florida’s physical therapy department and has held clinical leadership positions in several health care institutions in North Central Florida over the past 25 years. He has earned the American Physical Therapy Association endorsed Vestibular Rehabilitation Certification through Emory University’s Vestibular certification program in 2005. He has helped to develop and pilot “Safe Strides Program” for Gentiva Home Health, the nation’s largest home health agency. He has trained and monitored outcomes for therapists throughout North Florida in this comprehensive vestibular rehabilitation and fall prevention program.

Bruce enjoys time with his family. He has been a coach for volleyball teams at A Girl's Place as well as with club teams. When he gets the chance, he likes to golf, scuba dive, and get in trips to museums.

Rhoda Chiarelli, PT

Rhoda has worked as a therapist and manager of therapy services in home care and rehabilitation centers. Rhoda received her BS of Health Education from Cal State University Northridge and then worked as a PTA in California before attending Physical Therapy school in The Netherlands. She graduated in 1998 with her PT degree and has specialized in neurorehabilitation for treatment of Stroke and brain injury survivors. She has worked in California and Florida in acute care hospital settings, rehabilitation settings, outpatient care settings and home care. Rhoda enjoys spending time with her three girls and husband traveling, camping, attending UF sporting events, going to the theatre, and going to the movies.

 

Meg Sack, OTR/L

University of Florida graduate, has worked in rehabilitation settings and home care services in the Gainesville area for more than 20 years.

 




 

Gary Kinsey

After serving in the Army during the Vietnam war, Gary worked in several different occupations from life insurance sales to Mr. Fix it to commercial fishing. He returned to college in 1993 to become a Physical Therapist. After completing a pre-physical therapy program at St. Petersburg college, he went on to earn his Bachelor of Physical Therapy in The Netherlands in 1998. Since then he worked at The Center for Independent Living helping the disabled community regain independence until personal health issues forced him into an early retirement. However, he has been able to work his way back to where now he joins us to head up our Wellness programs for those also trying to overcome disability and chronic disease.

Gary is an avid outdoorsman and enthusiastic fisherman. He loves to bike and hike.

Erin Waters

Erin has been an Administrative Assistant for four years and is a current student at Santa Fe College. She has a great appreciation for the fine arts, after 16 years of ballet and other dance areas. She and her husband enjoy taking their daughter and two boys to soccer, gymnastics, and basketball practices. Erin spends her few free moments at the gym, swimming, or reading. Being from Pennsylvania, she really enjoys the warmth and all the outdoor activities Florida has to offer.

 

 

Meghan Blake, MPT

Megan has been a Physical Therapist for 12 years in rehab, schools and home health settings. She earned a Bachlors's of Science in Therapeutic Recreation at the University of Florida and a Bachlor's of Health Science at the University of Kentucky. She earned her Master's in Physical Therapy at the University of Kentucky. Meghan and her husband stay busy with their four boys and their afterschool activities.
