Bruce Sack, PT

Bruce Sack, Physical Therapist, is an alumnus of Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Mn. He has served on faculty in the University of Florida’s Physical Therapy department and has held clinical leadership positions in several health care institutions in North Central Florida over the past 25 years. He has earned the APTA endorsed Vestibular Rehabilitation Certification through Emory University. He has helped to pilot and manage innovative fall prevention programs for Home Health Agencies, has served as an Orthopedic Director for services provided over a large segment of North Florida and has served as a consultant to Suwannee River Area Health Education Council and Elder Options of North Florida.

Bruce enjoys time with his family. He has been a coach for volleyball teams at A Girl's Place as well as other area club teams. When he gets the chance, he likes to golf, scuba dive, and get in trips to museums.

Rhoda Chiarelli, PT

Rhoda has worked as a therapist and manager of therapy services in home care and rehabilitation centers. Rhoda received her BS of Health Education from Cal State University Northridge and then worked as a PTA in California before attending Physical Therapy school in The Netherlands. She graduated in 1998 with her PT degree and has specialized in neurorehabilitation for treatment of Stroke and brain injury survivors. She has worked in California and Florida in acute care hospital settings, rehabilitation settings, outpatient care settings and home care.

Rhoda enjoys spending time with her three girls and husband traveling, camping, attending UF sporting events, going to the theatre, and going to the movies.

Meg Sack, OTR/L

University of Florida graduate, has worked in rehabilitation settings and home care services in the Gainesville area for more than 20 years.  She has developed expertise in Stroke Rehabilitation and is recognized for her creative and effective safe adaptations of home settings.

Meg enjoys maintaining her aquariums and her garden.  She continues to volunteer extensively in local school activities. 

Reggie Johnson, DPT

Reggie completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Central Florida in Health Science. He continued his education and received his doctorate of physical therapy at the University of St. Augustine for Health Science, with main interests in orthopedics and manual therapy. He completed his internship here at New Day Wellness and has been with us since September of 2016.

Reggie enjoys being married to Bethany, who is an Occupational Therapist at UF Health Shands. They are parents to Finley, a soft coated wheaton terrier. He also enjoys playing golf, watching movies and going to Disney with his family.

Terry McMullen, PTA

Terry is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant who graduated from Florida Gateway College in August of 2014. He is married and has four wonderful children, ages 24 to 4. He enjoys spending time with his family, watching Gator football, fishing, reading, kayaking, and restoring his classic truck. Terry has been with New Day Wellness since June of 2014, when he began his last clinical rotation here as a student.

Billie Jean

Billie Jean has worked in management and clerical positions in medical and education fields. She has a BA in Intracultural Studies and an AA in Biblical Studies; she has also been licensed and worked as an Insurance agent and as a CNA. Having lived in many states in the USA and overseas, she feels blessed to now be living in Florida’s beautiful Nature Coast town, Chiefland.

Billie Jean enjoys the daily, personal interaction with the patients of New Day Wellness, as well as helping them with their scheduling and insurance needs. Her true passion in life is her family… which includes one grandson presently (and you know he is the cutest one to ever be born J!). She enjoys her pets as well as outings in nature, such as kayaking, hiking, bike riding and random outdoor adventure experiences.

Laura Blanton

Laura lives in the Tri-county area with her husband, Bill and is a proud mother of Taylor, a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps, now transitioning into the private sector. She is a Board Member and Director for Suwannee Valley Players, Inc which is a local community theater company at the Chief Theater in Chiefland, Florida.

Trinh Phan

Trinh is a senior at the University of Florida majoring in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology. She has been working and gaining clinical experience for more than 7 years. After graduation, she hopes to attend Physician’s Assistant school to specialize in neonatology. Trinh is serving as an assistant manager of the Changeover Division at the Stephen C. O’Connell at the University of Florida.Her responsibilities include being a liaison between her division and administration, staffing and organizing events, and being a mentor to supervisors within changeover.

Trinh enjoys cooking, volunteering, spending time with family, and spontaneous adventures.

Nick Goranov

Nick is a senior at the University of Florida's college of Health and Human Performance, studying Applied Physiology and Kinesiology. His work experience and hobbies are mostly technical, including web development, video production, and managing networks or computer systems. He plans to attend medical school.

Nick is a licensed amateur radio operator. He is co-founder and Treasurer of Gainesville's Disc Jockey Collective, and enjoys participating in music events for UF students. Nick enjoys volunteering, traveling, hiking, and camping with his famly and friends.
