New Day Wellness offers a variety of services and treatment options for individuals needing Physical and Occupational Therapy. With an effective team that is licensed and trained in the latest treatment methods, our goal is to help you return to the activities you love, help reduce and eliminate your pain, and help you regain your movement and strength! To do this, we offer:

  • Home Health Care Options
Home health care provides individuals who are home bound the opportunity to maintain and restore as much of their independence as possible. Many individuals who require or would greatly benefit from Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy are not able to make it into a clinic; so, let us come to you. With Home Health Care options, a skilled Physical or Occupational Therapist will come to your home and help you meet your goals of restoring your mobility and independence, decreasing your pain, improving your movement, avoiding potential surgery, and returning to those things you love to do again.
  • Group Therapy Options
By providing an opportunity for therapy through a group setting, we are able to keep those needing longer episodes of care to remain active in therapy without exhausting their Medicare or Health Care benefit.  The group charge is dramatically less than individualized therapy and patients still receive the same benefits of skilled Physical Therapy interventions.
  • Wellness Programs
Many individuals wish to continue with the progress they have made during their one-on-one Physical Therapy appointments. Our Wellness Program allows you to do just that. Our goal is not only to help restore your ability to move and return to the things you love but also to help prevent injury, avoid the need for surgery, manage and eliminate pain, and to journey with you along a path for a "Well Life".
  • Tai Chi for Better Balance Clubs
We now have therapists certified in Tai Chi Fundamentals. This program is designed to be done while covered under the physical therapy insurance benefit to help individuals with pain and balance deficits to gradually develop the skills needed to safely join a community Tai Chi Chuan class. Tai Chi for Better Balance and Tai Chi for Arthritis are recognized by many including The Centers for Disease Control and The Arthritis Foundation as being among some of the very best methods to improve balance and reduce chronic pain.
  • Aquatic Therapy (individually and in groups)
Aquatic therapy is a safe and effective method that we are now also able to offer. Individual aquatic physical therapy and group aquatic physical therapy in the YMCA's handicapped adapted Olympic swimming pool is available. Contact our YMCA office for more information.
